Shouryarudra Banerjee joined Dr Rani’s lab, Department of Urology, PGIMER Chandigarh, in July 2022. He holds an M.Sc. in Animal Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Hyderabad, 2019. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph..D in Cancer Biology, focusing on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of translation inhibition that drive tumor progression in bladder cancer. Recently, he was awarded the prestigious EMBO travel grant to present his research work in the EMBO protein Quality control conference, in Hersonissos, Greece (16-24th May, 2025).
